GST 2 0 Who Car Bike will be cheaper or more expensive from September 22, know the new tax rules

The in -depth changes made by the government in the TPS 2.0 have brought relief not only to those who buy small cars, but also to those with large vehicles. For the first time after the implementation of TPS in 2017, the tax burden of premium cars decreased due to additional cessation. Previously, buyers of large petrol and diesel cars made around 50% efficient, including 28% of the GST and 22% of heavy remuneration. As part of the new system, it was rational and 40% TPS was manufactured. The new TPS prices will be in force from the first day of Navratri on September 22, 2025.

The engine capacity of up to 1200 cc and petrol cars, GNC and GPL with a length of up to 4000 mm will now allow 18% TPS, which was the first 28%. The engine capacity of up to 1500 cm3 and diesel cars with a length of up to 4000 mm will also be billed at 18% TPS. This means that popular hayons and compact sedans like Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz and Honda Amazon can be more affordable.
Cars of 1200 CC (petrol / GCC / GPL) or 1500 cc (diesel) or more than 4000 mm in length will now perceive a huge TPS of 40%, which was earlier by 28%. This includes large sedans, premium SUVs and imported models. Customers who buy vehicles like Toyota Fortner, Mahindra XUV700 (high version) or the imported luxury sedan will have to pay a higher price.
Motorcycles up to 350 cc (including moped and support engine) will now be reduced from 28% to 18% of the GST. This includes the most common motorcycle and market scooters, which makes them cheap for everyday users. Motorcycles greater than 350 cc, including Royal Enfield 650cc, Harley-Davidson or Premium KTM, will now have 40% TPS. Therefore, lovers of premium bicycle will have to spend more money.
Tractor (except high -capacity road tractors), tractor parts such as tires, brakes, radiators and clutch will now have only 5% TPS. This is a major relief for farmers and rural buyers. TPS has also been reduced to 18% on three wheels (automobiles). Frequently transport vehicles (truck chassis, Lories, etc.) are now less than 18% of the GST instead of 28%, which reduces the cost of logistics and fleet operators.

From now on, the GST rate of 40% is widespread in itself and no separate transfer will be added.
