TMZ Sports has come to learn that wrestling veteran Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71. On Thursday morning, doctors were sent to the Clearwater home of WWE veteran Hulk Hogan in Florida… and doctors said they had “cardiac arrest.” In the video outside of Hogan’s house, rescuers are taken to an ambulance and desperately try to save Hogan’s life.
The death of wrestling veteran and pop culture icon Hulk Hogan didn’t just shake up the world of professional wrestling. No Hulk Hogan biopics have been made
In 2019, Joker fame director Todd Phillips released a biopic of Hulk Hogan. Chris Hemsworth, known as Thor of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was chosen for the role of this American wrestler. 6’6″ there were concerns that Hemsworth was “very small” to play the 135kg role for this giant wrestler, but Hogan was ready for this role. By 2021, the film was still moving forward. And then there was silence. There’s no updates, no filming schedules, no blonde Hemsworth. Hulk Hogan himself then announced the film’s closure, saying the film had been closed. Speaking about the 2024 PDB podcast, the wrestling veteran said Netflix was confused. “He kind of lapsed on the contract,” Hogan said. “The payments weren’t made at the right time.
