How much has America changed 5 years after the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement? Killing after seeing color that shook the world

Just 5 years ago, there was a heinous murder in America that shook the whole world. The reason was that the person was killed after seeing the color of his skin. Whereas it was the responsibility of that killer who proud of the color of his own skin to maintain law and order. This massacre gave birth to one of the world’s largest apartheid anti-movements- Black Lives Matter. We are talking about the murder of George Floid (George Foyd Death Anniversary) which was carried out by an American police officer 5 years ago. But after that movement, the US government seems to be retreating from the reforms that the US had taken against racism, since President Donald Trump took over.
During the arrest of Floid on May 25, 2020, the murder helped to launch the Black Lives Matter movement as a powerful force, which demanded the US to resolve deep racial issues, from police violence to systemic inequality.
Meanwhile, the movement of Black Lives Matter is a lack of support that it found when the protesters spread to American cities during the Corona epidemic- many now agree that the movement has received very little significance in the movement.
A program is being held in the area called George Floid Square of Minoriapolis 5 years after the murder. It was here that 46 -year -old George Floid breathed his last as police officer Derek Chowvin stabbed his neck during his arrest.

Floid being remembered on George Floid Square
The George Floid Square is a small junction in a residential part of the city of North America, a residential part. Here, there are pictures of protests on walls and written in purple color, “You changed the world, George.” (You changed the world, george)
However, this optimistic message, which was prepared in 2020, is now in contradiction with the President, whose radical voters/ supporters have suggested that he should waive police officer Chowvin, who was convicted of killing Floid and sentenced to more than 22 years.
Some experts believe that Trump’s re -becoming President was somewhat against the movement of Black Lives Matter, as it also included protests that turned into riots in some cities and demanded to stop the funds received by the police.

Violence erupted in Miniapolis on May 28, 2020 during protests on Floid’s death
Floid’s family members told the news agency AFP in Miniapolis on Friday that they want people to continue efforts to improve despite adverse political atmosphere.
“No executive order is required to tell us that the life of black people matters,” said his aunt Angela Harelson. He wore a dark colored T-shirt with a floid face.
George Floid’s cousin, Paris Stevens agreed, “No one can silence us now.”
– ‘Keep alive in memories’ –
Floid relatives, along with about 50 others, place yellow roses at the place on the roadside where Flion was killed and the video there went viral all over the world. Before that, he also kept silence.

This was a moment of thinking for the society. On Sunday, the candle light will also wake up overnight. Floid will be remembered through music, art and dance during this wipe.
Since the death of Floid, programs are organized every year remembering him and its theme is “The People’s Heave Spoken”. According to Harelson, the name was suggested by Naxi, grandson of Nelson Mandela when he visited George Floid Square. He said that this name of the theme reflects five years of protest. He said that “Even though it is tired, we will continue to move forward.”
Those who come there are expected to pay their tribute to the entire Wikaand George Floid. Jill Foster, a doctor at Miniapolis, told the AFP at the intersection on Friday that he felt that honoring the heritage of Floid is partly a form of political resistance.
The 66 -year -old Jill Foster said, “Under the Trump Administration, everything is being tried to re -write and create a new reality.” “We have to keep memories alive and continue the flow of information.”
Meanwhile, this day of the year for his girlfriend Ross at the time of Floid’s death, this day of the year works to recover old wounds. 49 -year -old Ross told AFP, dressed in black clothes and for a bouquet of yellow roses, “I miss him a lot, I miss him a lot.”
He said, “It is beautiful to see all the people coming out and celebrating her (of flyad’s memories).”
“You are seeing an integration that you do not get much in this country in recent times. People are celebrating the person you know, he gave his life for us.”
