Hyundai Creta EV launched, charges in just 58 minutes and has a range of 473km

The Hyundai Creta Electric has two battery pack options: 51.4kWh and 42kWh. The Hyundai Creta EV has a claimed range of 473 km on a single charge with the 51.4kWh battery pack option and 390 km on a single charge with the 42kWh battery pack option.
Hyundai Motor India today announced the Hyundai Creta EV which will be launched in the country on January 17 at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The Hyundai Creta Electric will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki E Vitara, Mahindra BE6, Tata Curve, MG ZS EV and Toyota Urban Cruiser EV. The Hyundai Creta Electric has two battery pack options: 51.4kWh and 42kWh. Hyundai Creta EV can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes using a DC fast charger. The 11kW Connected Wallbox AC Home Charger allows you to charge from 10% to 100% in just 4 hours. Thanks to a larger battery pack (51.4kWh), the Hyundai Creta Electric has a claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.9 seconds. The Hyundai Creta EV looks like an internal combustion engine (ICE) version of the SUV. The front and rear are nearly identical except for EV-focused elements based on the automaker’s Global Pixel design language for electric vehicles.
There is a front grille with pixelated graphics and a lower bumper with pixelated graphics with an integrated charging port. Similarly, there is a pixelated graphic bumper at the rear. This electric SUV features active air flaps that help manage airflow and cool vehicle components while improving aerodynamic performance. It also has new 17-inch aero alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tires. The Hyundai Creta EV features Vehicle to Load (V2L) technology that allows users to power external devices both inside and outside the vehicle.
