After 2021, when Kohli opted out of captaincy, it was a shocking decision for all. Virat Kohli has now given the real reason for this in an interview.

He said, “I was also captaining the Indian team at that time, in such a situation it was very difficult for me. Its effect was coming on my batting too, I used to think all the time what should I do now. Then I thought that I needed to be stress -free and happy to do well, I used to play a lot from the batting perspective.”

Virat Kohli captained RCB in 143 matches in which he got success in 68 matches. During this, Bengaluru made a place in the playoffs four times. And also played the final in 2016. During this, Om’s win percentage was 47.55.
