I started double cleansing every night for two weeks–here’s how my skin changed

Below, I describe how my two-week experience took place.
The results:
First week
I have oily skin and, of course, was skeptical about the installation of another layer of oil all over the face. Pleasantly surprised, I noticed instantly how much my makeup was clear – and the process was really therapeutic. The black cherry cherry cleaning balm of Elemis is a pleasure to apply, and I found that I barely radiated the surface of the bathtub during the first week of use. Then, I followed with the Rapid Rapid Rapid RADIANCE Sarah Chapman cleaner – the days when I wore heavier makeup and was out of the house longer – or the cetaphil skin cleaner.
After cleaning, I conscientiously followed with two moisturizers. The Roche Posey Duo continued to problem areas – imperfections and pimples – while the daily hydrating Cetaphil went everywhere on my face. I allowed the products to sink for about 10 to 20 minutes before falling asleep.
On the seventh day, I noticed that my skin had started to feel more fluid, and I was able to zap annoying spots under the skin with pimp spots once they have surfaced. My skin was always slightly dull (and I still had a few pores blocked), but overall, I felt refreshed and confident that I had eliminated persistent pollutants.
Second week
During the second week, I followed the same method, but I tested a different oil cleaner. This time, I entered with the gel -Balm of Fonte Riley Aquamarine Sunday, which is distributed via a practical pump – which makes it really easy and motivating to use after a long day of day, when everything you want to do is jump to bed. For my double cleaning, I continued to use cetaphil – both the washing of the face and the moisturizer – noticing how the combination has made my skin.
At the end of the week, my face was significantly quieter and devoid of open comes which had tormented it fourteen days earlier. One thing I monitor is the rise in the oil that I noticed on my skin throughout the day – it did not lead to any eruption but has sometimes been quite visible. It is likely that my skin gets used to my new routine and I would take a slightly brighter complexion than an irritated skin barrier every day.
Final reflections
Overall, I would recommend a double cleaning for those who wear makeup or a particularly robust daily SPF. Dr. Du-Harpur agrees, sharing that the combination is very effective “to eliminate everything that is designed to grasp the skin”. If you generally do not wear makeup or do not spend time in a lively city, it is advisable to simply stick to a single cleaning.
