Russia and Ukraine have passed over for more than three years over war and now talks are going to be held between the two countries about the ceasefire. While the world is eyeing this talk, Ukraine President Volodimir Jailmanki said on Sunday that he is ready for talks with Vladimir Putin in Istanbul on Thursday. US President Donald Trump immediately asked him to agree on the proposal of talks with Russia.
Zelanski hoped in a post on X that a full ceasefire would begin on Monday, so that the war could be provided for the end of the war and the necessary basis for diplomacy. At the same time, Jailmanki said, “There is no point in prolonging the murders and I will wait for Putin in Turki on Thursday. I hope that this time Russian will not find excuses.”

Putin’s proposal for talks on May 15
Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed direct talks in front of Ukraine on 15 May. Jailmanki has expressed happiness over this and described it as a positive sign. However, Jailmanki said that there should be a ceasefire before the commencement of peace talks.
Turkas ready to host talks
On the other hand, Turki President Rechup Tayyab Ardogan on Sunday interacted with French President Emmanuel Macron and said that the Turkas are ready to host talks for ceasefire and permanent peace between Russia and Ukraine.
