ICC Announced Odi Team of the Year 2024: The International Cricket Council (ICC ODI Playing 11 for Year 2024) has announced the men’s ODI Team of the Year of 2024. This list includes players performing brilliantly in the 50 -over format. The team consists of players from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and West Indies and in this playing 11, Sri Lankan player Charith Asanka has been elected captain.

In the year 2024, not a single Indian player was able to place a place in the list of 50 overs farms. The All-Star team announced by the ICC includes four Sri Lanka, three each from Pakistan and Afghanistan and one from West Indies. India played only three ODIs in which a foreign series against Sri Lanka, out of which it faced defeat while the third match was lost.
Sri Lankan captain Charit Aslanka as Captain of Odi Team of 2024 was also elected captain of the ICC team for his brilliant batting throughout the year. In his 16 ODIs in 2024, Asanka scored 605 runs at an average of 50.2, including a century and four fifties. Sri Lanka played 18 ODIs last year, which is the highest among all the teams and won 12 of them. Pakistan won seven of their nine ODI matches, while Afghanistan won eight of their 14 ODIs.
Sherfen Rutherford, a big hitter of the West Indies, who made his international debut in 2023. He is the only non-Asian in ODI playing 11 by scoring 425 runs at an amazing average of 106.2 in nine matches.
