Most wickets for England vs India in T20Is: India got a spectacular victory by two wickets in the second T20 against England. Tilak Verma did wonders in India’s victory and led India to victory by playing an innings of 72 runs. Tilak Verma was awarded the title of Player of the Match. On one hand, while Tilak Verma’s innings won the hearts of the fans, on the other hand, India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya made a special record during his bowling. Hardik Pandya bowled two overs during the second T20 match and was successful in taking one wicket for 6 runs.

Even though Hardik could not do wonders in batting, he made a special record by taking one wicket. While Hardik became the second highest wicket taker in the T20 matches between India and England, he also became the highest wicket taker from India in the India-England T20. Till now Hardik has succeeded in taking a total of 17 wickets in India-England T-20 cricket. By doing this Hardik has broken the record of Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal took a total of 16 wickets in the India-England T-20.

The record of taking most wickets in India-England T20 is in the name of England’s Chris Jordan. Chris has played a total of 16 matches in T-20 against India and has been successful in taking a total of 24 wickets. At the same time, Hardik has played 17 matches against England in T-20 so far and has succeeded in taking a total of 17 wickets. India’s Yuzvendra Chahal took 16 wickets after playing 11 matches in T-20 against England. Jofra Archer of England has played a total of 8 matches against India in T-20 International so far and has succeeded in taking a total of 11 wickets.

Talking about the second T20, Indian captain Surya had won the toss and decided to bowl first. Playing first, the England team could score only 165 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. India achieved the target in the last over after losing 8 wickets. Tilak Verma was awarded the title of Player of the Match for playing a brilliant unbeaten inning of 72 runs. Now the third T-20 match of the series will be played in Rajkot on 28 January.
