India-UAE CEPA Agreement: 3 years of implementation of CEPA between India and UAE

India-UAE Trade: There has been a tremendous bounce in trade between India and the United Arab Emirates. In the current financial year (April-January), there has been an increase of 21.35% in trade. According to Commerce Ministry, bilateral trade reached $ 80.51 billion during this period.

Exports from India increased by 6.82% to $ 30 billion. At the same time, imports from UAE in India increased by 35.58% to $ 50.51 billion.

FTA benefits business

In May 2022, the Free Trade Agreement- FTA was implemented between India and UAE. Since then, there has been a very positive increase in trade between the two countries. Due to which the trade relations of both countries have been strengthened.

CEPA completed 3 years

On Tuesday, Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement-CEPA is completing 3 years. Under this agreement, more than 2,40,000 original original Certificate Certificates (Certificate of Origin) have been released, exporting UAE to $ 19.87 billion.
