Indin Journalist Mithali Mukharjee has been appointed director of Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism. She was there and acting director there since Rasamsam Nielsen left the post in October. Under an open and independent process, he has been selected as the director of the institute. His appointment was announced on Tuesday by Allen Rusbrizer, chairman of the Steering Committee of the Institute and David Doyle, Head of Politics and International Department of Oxford University.
