India’s best hospital had just been made, now neither necessary medicines nor pregnancy kit-eurin containers here

Rml hospital new delhi: Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) hospital, one of the largest hospitals of the central government in Delhi, is very bad. For the last several days, there are neither very important life -saving medicines nor basic medical items like pregnancy test kit and urin container. Due to non -availability of these medicines in the hospital’s pharmacy, patients have to buy these medicines from outside at very expensive prices. While these medicines should have been available free of cost in the hospital. This is the condition when it has recently got the best medical facilities, policy and NABH certificate for their adherence, and it is the first hospital in the central government in India with such achievement.

The deficiencies in the hospital were revealed when a social worker wrote a letter to Union Health Minister JP Nadda. In it, the worker wrote that many things related to the care of patients are not available in the hospital. There is also no monitor (for serious patients), disposable gowns, fluids for drip, masks, injections, rolls tubes etc. This deficiency of medicines and essential items in any emergency or major accident can put the life of patients at risk and the image of the government can also be damaged.

What did the hospital administration say
On this shortage of medicines RML Hospital’s Media Incharge and Doctor Pulin Gupta of Medicine Department Told that the file of the purchase process of medicines has started and now it is in the final stage. The tendering process for this has also been completed. Hopefully the goods can reach anytime.

However, some doctors of the hospital say that there is no automatic system of demand and supply of medicines in the pharmacy. It often happens that as long as the doctors do not go and talk to the store or procurement department, medicines do not come. Crores are spent for NABH certification, but the medicines required for patients are not taken care of.
