After Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, the second most expensive player in IPL history, who was bought by Punjab for 26.75 crores in the auction, is second in the list of most salary players. Iyer will bat at number three

Batting at number four in the Champions Trophy, Shreyas Iyer, who played a key role in India’s victory, wants to leave his distinctive impression while batting at number three in this session of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Iyer, while talking to the media with Punjab Kings head coach Ricky Ponting, said, “We all know that IPL is an integral part of Indian cricket and if I would like to establish myself in one place in T20, then it will be the third number. My focus is on this. I will not say that we are planning to bat on which number I have to bat.” He said, “This time I am clear about my number in batting order and as long as the coach will get support, I will focus on that number.”
