Isha Ambani Piramal’s Met Gala looks over the years

For the theme “Camp: Notes on Fashion”, Ambani went with a Tulle Prel Prabal Gurung dress with a plunging neckline, a ruffled shoulder detail and a threaded handbrods with crystals and feathers. The Princess-Esque ball dress took 350 hours to create. The dramatic eyes, the naked lips, the fluid curls and the diamond jewelry, including the rings the size of the eyeballs and a dramatic pendant, linked the look together.

In accordance with the theme inspired by Lagerfeld two years ago, Ambani dived deeply in flamboyance in a personalized sari concept by Prabal Gurung – a black set with a shoulder with an uncontrollable silk ilk muslin train, all imported by hand with crystals and pearls along the border. She completed the look with Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewelry, including a neck, a necklace on several levels, earrings and a Haathphool inspiration bracelet. A doll bag from the Chanel Mumbai-Paris 2012 collection added an additional fantasy.
