Coldplay Tribute To Jasprit Bumrah in Ahmedabad Concert: In a special moment during the Coldplay concert in Ahmedabad, singer Chris Martin dedicated a beautiful song to Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who was also present at the concert and Chris Martin called him the “best bowler” in the world. In a cheeky manner, Martyn admitted that he did not like Bumrah “destroying” England’s batting with his fast bowling.
“Oh Jasprit Bumrah, my beautiful brother. The best bowler in all of cricket. We can’t wait to see you demolishing England behind the wicket,” Coldplay frontman Chris said while sharing the photo on his Disney+ Hotstar Instagram handle. He can be seen singing a song in the video.

Chris also played a clip of Bumrah, in which the Indian fast bowler was destroying the batsmen with his great class and speed. Coldplay also showed Bumrah’s signed Test jersey on stage. Sunday’s show was live-streamed on Hotstar. This was not the first time that Chris showed his love and respect towards Bumrah. The Indian bowler also received a special praise from singer Chris Martin during Coldplay’s concert in Mumbai on 18 and 19 January. During his first day’s programme, Chris Martin suddenly surprised everyone by taking the name of India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah.

He said, “Wait, we have to end the show because Jasprit Bumrah wants to come backstage and play.” After thanking the fans, Martyn said, “He (Bumrah) says he has to bowl to me now.” Cricket fans definitely got excited when they heard Martin praising Bumrah. Many people also assumed that Bumrah would actually come on stage. He did not turn up, but Martin’s praise for Bumrah drew a thunderous cheer from the audience at the concert organized by BookMyShow Live. On the second day, Martin once again remembered Bumrah.
