Jeet Adani meets Assam CM Sarma, discussion about investment of 50 thousand crores

Adani Group is going to invest 50 thousand crores in Assam. This was announced by Gautam Adani, chairman of Adaani Group in ‘Advantage Assam 2.0’ held in February. Now work has started to implement different proposals related to this investment. In this series, Jeet Adani, director of Adaani Group on Sunday, met Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. During this meeting, an investment of Rs 50,000 crore proposed by the group was discussed between the two during the state trade summit in February.

The meeting discussed the investment and development of the state in Assam. After the meeting, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state government hopes that the proposals of Adani Group for investment in various fields will soon become a reality.

Posting on ‘X’ about the meeting with Jeet Adani, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “During the Advantage Assam, Adani Group committed an investment of Rs 50,000 crore. Today, along with our senior officials, we held a deep meeting with Adaani Group Director Jeet Adani and his team to carry forward this commitment. ”

Aero-City will also be constructed in the state

He said, “We hope that we have signed the memorandum related to important investment in the development of Aero-Say, Hotel, Cement Plant and major infrastructure projects, they will start soon.” It is known that Gautam Adani, Chairman of Advani Group, had announced an investment of Rs 50,000 crore at the ‘Advantage Assam 2.0’ Business Summit in February.

Many more big projects including cement plant, logistic park

This meeting is being considered important from the perspective of MoU sign on other projects including cement plant, construction of thermal power project in the state. In Assam, the development of infrastructure including Jogighopa Multimodal Logistics Park, Hotel and Urban Facilities was discussed. During this time, the Chief Minister assured Adani Group to speed up land allocation and approval.

At the same time, Jeet Adani appreciated the state’s active approach and reiterated the group’s commitment to invest in the development of Assam. In this meeting, Industry Minister Bimal Bora, KAC CEM Tulsiram Ronghang, Dima Hasao CEM Debolal Gorlosa, Chief Secretary Ravi Kota and other officials were present.
