Kajol has long controlled the duality of the sari, honoring nostalgia in heritage weaving while kissing new interpretations which highlight the endless versatility of the sheet. His latest appearance at the Global Excellence Awards 2025 reaffirmed this reinvention instinct. For the evening, she chose a beige sari dress by Shantnu & Nikhil, stylish by Aastha Sharma. The dress, returned in a nude dull palette, stood out from its interaction of fluidity and structure. The genius lies in the strategic placement of each fold and fold which has created a second skin effect while adding a feeling of theater that a red carpet requires.
