The ink blue kaftan presented a flattering slit filled with botanical impressions inspired by the designer’s affinity for the mangroves of the Sundarbans. Panels handcrafted by Zardozi in gold operate on the sleeves and the bottom was balanced with the pieces of signs of the workshop around the borders.

Kaftan comes from a collection rooted in the free spirit of animated bazaars and flea markets against cities and dilapidated havelis. This charm of the old world that underlies is at the heart of Sabyasachi’s knowledge, also seen through its high level of sorbet jewelry.
