Maruti Suzuki launches much-awaited first electric SUV E Vitara at Auto Expo 2025

Production will start soon in Gujarat
In fact, Suzuki Motors owns about 58% of Maruti Suzuki India. The company also plans to make India the global manufacturing base for this model. “We plan to start producing the e-Vitara at Maruti Suzuki’s Gujarat plant in the next few months,” Suzuki said. Based on this research, automakers aim to make BEVs attractive to customers through a three-step strategy that also includes the development of BEV-specific platforms to optimize performance, Toshihiro Suzuki said. said.
Invested 2.1 billion rupees in manufacturing of e-Vitara in India
Suzuki said the second is to develop products suitable for the target market based on customer requirements.
