Butler performed well during the series

The England team has definitely lost 3-0 in the ODI series against India. But Jose Butler’s performance was fine. During the series, he scored a total of 92 runs thanks to a half -century. In the first ODI, he scored a half -century innings of 52 runs, while in the second innings he scored 34 runs with his bat. In the last ODI, he could not show anything special and was dismissed by just six runs.

England defeated badly in last ODI

Talking about the last ODI match, after losing the toss in Ahmedabad, the Indian team managed to score 356 runs losing all their wickets in 50 overs. Shubman Gill was the highest scorer to start the innings for the team. He played a century of 112 runs in 102 balls at a strike rate of 109.80. Apart from Gill, Shreyas Iyer (78) and Virat Kohli (52) scored half -centuries, while KL Rahul contributed 40 runs.

Chasing the target of 357 runs from India, the entire English team collapsed for 214 runs in 34.2 overs. Tom Banton and Gas Atkinson contributed 38-38 runs for the team respectively. But it was not enlightened for the team’s victory. As a result, the team faced defeat by a huge margin of 142 runs.

Shubman Gill became ‘Player of the Match’ and ‘Player of the Series’

Shubman Gill has been adjudged ‘Player of the Match’ for the best century innings in the last ODI. For this, his performance during the entire series was commendable. For which he has also been awarded the ‘Player of the Series’ Award.
