Javed Akhtar defends Mohanlal-Mamooti
Bollywood Javed Akhtar’s lyricist and screenwriter supported Mohanlal and Mamuti in the controversy of Sabarimala Puja. In a post X, Akhtar congratulated the friendship of Mohanlal and Mammooty and took a search in these “narrow” and “trivial” people who create such great controversy on the faith of someone that they ignore their friendship and their brotherhood. A section of people was angry with the fact that Mohanlal adored his Muslim friend at the Temple of Sabarimala.

Criticized insignificant people in the Sabarimala Puja dispute
Javed Akhtar wrote in his post X: “I want each Mamooti in India to have a friend like Mohan Lal and that each Mohan Lal has a friend like Mamuti. It is clear that his great friendship is clear that his great friendship is beyond the understanding of some narrow, insignificant and negative, but who care.” A receipt disclosed from the temple indicates that Mohanlal made “Usha Pooja” for Mamooti. Its original name, Mohammad Kutti and the birth constellation were mentioned in the receipt. While a section of the people appreciated their friendship, a journalist and a political analyst, O Abdullah cited the verses of the Koran, saying that Mamutti asked Mohanlal to worship at the Temple of Sabarimala, then he had committed a “great crime”.

Mohanlal-Mamooti’s friendship
He said in an audio message: “If it was in the knowledge of Mammooty, he should apologize. They should apologize to the Muslim community. It was a serious decline of the actor. If Mohanlal made these offers without the information of Mammuti, then there is nothing wrong. No one that Allah should offer anything.”
