Mutual split in the meeting of army-leaders in Pakistan, know why Imran Khan’s party was not included

India has been in action mode since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir. He has vowed to punish the terrorists and their handlers for their sins. This attack has again exposed Pakistan’s face to the world. The tension between the two countries is at its peak and the rounds of meetings are going on in both countries for their next step. There was an all -party meeting in Pakistan on Sunday, May 4 where the Pak Army and the government informed all the parties that Pakistan has taken steps. The special thing is that former PM Imran Khan’s party-PTI was not present in the meeting.
According to the report of Pakistani news agency Geo News, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary and Information Minister Ataullah Tarar informed senior political leaders of all parties of Pakistan on national security.
At the same time, according to Don’s report, a source said that political parties thought that they are standing with the armed forces to thwart any attempt to spoil regional peace. Prior to briefing, Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said that the main objective of the meeting was to react to political forces in view of tension with India.
Imran Khan’s party, PTI did not attend this meeting. PTI said, “Since it is just a government briefing and there is no serious effort to build a national consensus, nor is there any intention to include an important national leader like Imran Khan, we believe that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) participation in this briefing is not necessary.”
The shame is that Pakistan is still not accepting its crime of Pahalgam. On the contrary, he is alleging that India has attacked its own citizens. According to Dawn, Senator Muhammad Abdul Qadir, who joined the briefing, said that it was informed in the meeting that how and why India attacked in Pahalgam. Senator Qadir said, “According to the information shared with political leaders, the primary purpose of the operation was to further divert Indus water, intensifies aggression in Kashmir and hide Indian terrorism with the help of Afghan Taliban.”
