Now you will no longer have to face the hassles of many government applications

The government of India will take a new initiative for citizens of the Digital India campaign. Currently, citizens must download various applications for government services, which makes them disadvantages. To overcome this problem, the government is preparing to provide a “combination of government application”, where all government services will be available on the same platform. This will provide practical and easy digital services to citizens.

Following government applications: What is the plan?

The government’s objective is to provide all government services to citizens on the same platform. Currently, various mobile applications are available for various government regimes and services, such as Ayushman Bharat, Umang, Digilocker, Bhima Upi, Arogya Setu and Aadhaar, etc. All these users must download and update differently.

Thanks to this new suite of applications, citizens will obtain all important government applications in one place, which will not only facilitate access to services, but will also obtain information on government programs directly to users. This series of applications will act as a “super application”, in which citizens will have rapid and easy access to various government services.

Pre-installation in smartphones

The government discusses with technological companies to effectively implement this regime. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technologies (Meity) wrote a letter to Google and Apple asking them to provide this suite of government applications in their application stores to download. Apart from that, the government has also asked smartphones manufacturers to preinstall this series of applications and make it available in advance in the phone. In doing so, citizens will not need to download the application separately, and they will be able to use all the necessary government services as soon as they buy the phone.

Profits of the Applications Suite

Common citizens will have many advantages due to the arrival of government applications, such as:

1. All government services in the same place: citizens will not need to download different applications.

2.

3. Easy access to digital services: people will have quick and easy access to government services.

4. Safety and reliability of the data: Since this series of applications will be developed by the government, its data will be safe and reliable.

5. Low storage consumption: mobile storage will be recorded by having all the applications on the same platform.

This new Application of the Government of India will make digital services smoother, rapid and safe for citizens following following. Although the opposition of technological societies like Google and Apple can take up certain challenges in the implementation of the program, the government takes the question seriously. If this series of applications is successfully applied, it will further strengthen the objective of digital India and will facilitate the use of government services than ever for citizens.

Google and Apple are not entirely satisfied with this initiative. Google opposed the program, while Apple does not take a positive attitude on this subject. Technological companies believe that applications on their platforms not only control them, but also bring a large turnover. If the government provides its application of applications in stores or is preinstalled in smartphones, it can affect Google and Apple income models and control. Given the disagreement of Google and Apple, the government of India can take a difficult position on this issue. The government considers that it is its main objective to disseminate digital services to all citizens, and no private enterprise will be authorized to become an obstacle on this path. Consequently, if Google and Apple do not cooperate in this initiative, the government can consider other measures, such as the construction of Aboriginal application stores or to make Google and Apple available to government applications under new rules .
