Pakistan: 19 -year -old girl refuses to marry married, shot dead

A 19 -year -old girl was shot dead by a married man after rejecting the marriage proposal at Mohalla Noor Park, Pakistan. The girl was shot in her stomach and on the way to the hospital, she died on the way. This report has been published by Pakistan newspaper Dawn.
According to the report, the district police officer has taken action and has formed a special team to catch the accused. The accused has been identified as Imran. The accused is also a married person who has a young daughter. According to the report, he had a relationship with Alisha, the daughter of a widow. After this, Imran had proposed marriage to Alisha, but both the girl and her mother rejected the proposal.
Angered by this, Imran murdered him.
The Ghala Mandi police have registered a case of murder on the complaint of the girl’s mother. The accused is absconding.
