Asked about it, Anil replied: “Sakina and Tara are an integral part of Gadar. But we will talk more about her character before Gadar’s release 3.”
Meanwhile, Amisha did not hesitate to publicly raise the question. In a cat session on X, she admitted that there were “ creative differences ” between them and said that she would be attached to Gadar 3 only when she would feel “very excited” about the script, just as she was for the original Ghadar: EK Prem Katha.
When he was asked if Amisha Patel would be part of Gadar 3, in particular by looking at his position on the love story of Tara and Sakina, Anil replied: “Sakina and Tara are an integral part of Gadar. But we will talk more about their character before the release of Gadar 3.”

Speaking on a podcast with Manish Paul later, he also alleged that certain parts of the culmination of Gadar 3 had been filmed without his participation. Anil Sharma also said that Gadar 3’s script had already been written. He said: “Gadar 3 will certainly be done. We had promised the public in the last scene of Gadar 2 that the character of Utkarsh (Sharma) would be informed that it was worth admitted to the army. We put an end to the film with this message – will continue even more.”
Sharing the chronology of shots, Anil said: “It will take a while to make Gadar 3, but the public can remain sure that it will not take 20 years (laughing). We hope it will start to shoot in the next two years. We have worked on the script. It will be focused on the stories of Tara and Jeet.”
A Prem Katha was released 22 years later and became the highest fourth Indian film of 2023 after Jawan, Pathan and Animal.
