Reliance set to overhaul AI landscape with proposed data center in Jamnagar

Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industry to create world’s largest AI data center. It will be built in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The total capacity of this center will be 3 GW and there will be no matches in the world. Most operational data centers are currently in the United States and most of them are less than a gig.

Partnership with Nvidia

Reliance has partnered with Nvidia for this project. The installed AI Semiwaves will be taken from Nvidia. The two companies announced to come together to develop AI infrastructure in India in October last year. On this occasion, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang highlighted domestic AI production. He had said that India should make its own AI. You should not export data to intelligence import. Ambani also highlighted India’s digital connectivity infrastructure, agreeing with him.

A large amount of energy is required to run a data center. Many experts have expressed concern about environmental damage from this. If we talk about the data center to be built in Gujarat, most of its requirements will be met by green energy. The dependency is also considered in this area to install solar project, Pawan Chakkians and Green Hydrogen Project.

Mumbai Ambani had also spoken about giving people access to AI in India. The recourse can enter this sector with a solid strategy like the telecommunications sector.
