Efforts are being made to improve government hospitals, but still commercialization in the field of health is increasing. Treatment is becoming expensive day by day. In such a situation, an organization in the forest areas of Surguja has become a messiah for poor forest dwellers. We are not saying this, rather those people who have been treated in Sangwari. Sangwari Hospital i.e. the messiah of the poor is serving in different areas of Surguja and is doing better treatment to the people.

Earlier people from rural areas used to go far for treatment, but due to lack of financial condition, they could not get treatment. In such a situation, Sarguja is curing patients with its service in different areas including Kunia of Ambikapur. Villagers of Kunia say that every type of disease is being treated here. Every disease like BP, sugar, paralysis, fever is getting treatment well and money is also very less.

Treatment is done for free
Earlier we used to go to Ambikapur, there was a lot of crowd and the cost of the car was also spent. Now treatment is being done in the village itself. People are coming from Vandana, Sitapur, Nanmali for treatment. People have come to Raipur from here after getting treatment. The doctors here are treating the paralyzed patient and they are working well today. Upas Yadav, the patient of the village, says that Sangwari clinic is treated at very low rates and also for free. Many patients come here for treatment through a government hospital. Every disease is treated here and it takes very little money. Earlier doctors used to come from Raipur.

Generic medicines are used
PVTG castes like Pando, Korwa, Pahari Korwa, Manjhi Manjhwar are treated free of cost. The people of general tribal and general category are charged, but the fee is so low that it is negligible. If you are feeling one thousand rupees outside, then we will get a complete treatment with a hundred rupees test. Medicines are very inexpensive and generic medicines are used.
