Russia missing from Trump’s tariff list! Are Trump saving Putin? Learn why relief was given

New Delhi:
US President Donald Trump has announced its new reciprocal tariff, which can affect inflation and trade worldwide. Trump has announced that almost all the goods coming in the US will be charged 10% baseline tax, while some countries will be taxed even more. This list includes major trade partners like China, India, Japan and European Union (EU). But a name is missing in this entire list, Russia is …
Trump was angry at Russia, but did not impose tariff
Recently, Trump had said that if Russia does not eliminate Russia-Ukraine War, then America will put heavy tariffs on Russian oil. He also said that whatever country will buy oil from Russia, it will have difficulty in doing business with America. But when Trump released his tariff list, there was no name of Russia in it.
White House clarified, still bouncing questions
When questions were raised about this, the White House spokesman Caroline Levit said that the US has already imposed strict ban on Russia, so there is no need for additional tariffs on it. But not all are satisfied with this cleanliness because the US still trade with Russia, and some small countries are put in the tariff list whose trade with America is less than Russia.
Tension between Trump-Putin, then why gave relief to Russia?
The tension between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin is increasing. Trump said a few days ago that he was very angry with Putin for criticizing Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonski. He had also threatened to impose 25% secondary tariff on Russia and said that if Russia is not ready for the ceasefire, then these fees would be implemented within a month. But now when the tariff list has been released, there is no name of Russia in it, due to which many people are being surprised.
Which countries got exemption, which is charged heavy tax?
Please tell that Russia is not the only country which has been exempted from Trump’s new tariff. Belarus, Cuba and North Korea, who are already facing US sanctions, were also not included in this list. But Iran and Syria have been charged an additional 10% and 40%.
Apart from this, Canada and Mexico, who were previously affected by Trump’s tariff policy, also got a discount this time. At the same time, China has been charged the highest duty, which was already facing 20% tax on the role in the Phantanail Supplies Chen. Now it has been increased by 34%, due to which the total fee has increased to 54%.
Are Trump trying to save Russia?
Now the big question is whether Trump is strictly withdrawing against Russia? Earlier, he had said that new restrictions will be imposed on Russia soon, but now it is not named in the tariff list. Is this a sign of a deal with Putin or part of the existing policy of America? Discussion on this decision has intensified around the world and everyone’s eyes are on whether Trump will really take strict steps on Russia or it was just a rhetoric.
