If we talk about the figures, then Sachin Tendulkar, who is often called the ‘God of cricket’, continued to showcase in red ball cricket for more than two decades. With 15,921 runs including 51 centuries in 200 Tests, he remains the highest run -scorer in Test history. Tendulkar’s technology, patience and ability to play under pressure made him a pillar of India’s batting lineup especially in foreign circumstances. His century in Perth in 1992, a match -saving innings in Chennai against Pakistan in 1992 and a century in Sydney in 2004 is an example of his great innings.
On the other hand, Kohli has established himself as one of the best limited overs batsmen in history. With more than 14,000 runs and 51 centuries in ODIs, he has broken several records, including Lendulkar’s number of ODI centuries behind. Kohli’s ability to pursue the target, maintain luxurious average and perform well in the position of pressure makes him different in the limited overs format. Kohli is the highest run -scorer in ODIs while chasing the target.
