Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s pastel-coloured patchwork tissue sari was enhanced with gota work

Textile purists will confirm that the fabric in its best form is an incarnation of luxury, and the sari of Samantha Ruth Prabhu by Eka, based in New Delhi, is proof. Besides its shiny fabric, its look celebrates colors and crafts.

The hero of the six yards is the Pallu multi-color patchwork in tones of blue, gray, lemon green and pastel pink. The sari is made of organza fabric, a light and shiny material known for its crumpled texture.

As a rule, tissue saris are woven from a mixture of silk and cotton zari. In the case of Samantha, Zari and Lin, give the sari its characteristic texture and shine. The multicolored pallu is bordered by metallic details on the GOTA seams on hems and in patchwork threats, while the border is decorated with ZARI hand embroidery as floral patterns. A sleeveless floral blouse completed its look.
