Shah Rukh Khan’s Mir Foundation supported families affected by floods in Punjab

The Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan Bollywood Superstar Foundation supported families recently affected in Punjab and distributed the necessary emergency kits for their rehabilitation.
Punjab has struggled with the worst flood disaster for decades. After heavy rains in the watersheds of the Himachal Pradesh and Jammu-et-Cachemire, this flood occurred due to the increase in water level in the Sutlej, Vyas and delighted rivers as well as small rivers.
The Foundation said in a press release that the initiative, launched in association with local non -governmental organizations, will help 1,500 families in the Amritsar, Patiala, Fazilka and Ferozepur districts. Rescue kits include drugs, hygiene materials, food, mosquitoes, nets, tarpaulins, folding beds and other essential products.
The aim of this campaign is to meet the immediate needs of health, safety and shelters of families affected by floods and to help them resume their life with respect.
