Sharvari has nothing to hide

She does not tell stories about the rebellion. There is no gravelly background frame, no moment in the watershed. Instead, she speaks of her mother polished polish. “Whenever I have it, I have the impression that it has improved again to do it,” she smiles. It is a specific type of love measured not by hugs or PEP talks, but in the ghee ratios and jagré levels. I nod, thinking about the foods that have spared me when people couldn’t.

Bollywood (and society) tends to sort women in neat binary – high glamor sirens at one end, reliably rooted to the other. It leaves little room for ambiguity, so that someone wakes up and gets an eyebrow piercing or chop the hair in a bob without first checking if the public approves. Palatability often looks less like a choice and more to career insurance. Sharvari integrates effortlessly into this pleasant and accessible mold, but that asks the question: if she wanted to change her register when she built her identity to be easy to love? For the moment, his experimental side finds a representation in his work, already covering comedy, drama, horror and action. Maybe we will soon have a pink hair Sharvari – at least on our screens.

I tell him about my secret hobby: mentally collecting interesting names. I mention that “Sharvari” has a satisfactory feeling in the mouth. She responds without missing a beat. “For me, they are memes. I do all the time.

Fame has a way to fold people in their own reflection, but Sharvari seems determined not to get lost in the process. She thinks on the risk of confusing the perception of identity. “If I wake up low, I let myself feel it. I do not force confidence or do not try to look in some way every day. I push myself hard, but the rest of the time, I try to be soft with myself. ”

Five years ago, she thought she had to plan everything. Now she knows she doesn’t. In five years, she hopes that she still has her sense of humor. And I wonder if the real competence is not only presents, but appearing like that. In a thoughtful way, warmly, without visible calculation. It is difficult to resist and even more difficult to reject. “Whether it’s work, friendships or collaborations, I put a lot of love and care in what I do,” said Sharvari. And in one way or another, despite each cynical instinct, I find myself believing it.
