Sonam Kapoor and Hania Amir returned to saris in the best fashion looks of the week

Summer weddings are no longer limited to tradition – or temperature. With ceremonies that take place everywhere, from chapels on the side of the cliff to coastal villas, the dress code has moved accordingly. Go velvet and heavy bristles; In breathable curtains, mood welding pallets and silhouettes. The best dressed stars this week come back to Saris for summer weddings – from Sonam Kapoor to Hania Amir and Aditi Rao Hydari.

With the rise of mercury, fashion must work harder. Sonam Kapoor offered a masterclass in hot time clothes when launching the new store in Masaba Gupta, dressed in a Mul Ivory – Sari Sari – exhausting, adapted to the skin and rich in cultural indices. Broodé with a Tamil script and leaf details, the Sari was associated with a cotton blouse for hand and signing Masaba’s gold. Its look was equally attentive and modern – the time when the summer style does not have to sacrifice narration or comfort.

When the look is rooted in the tradition but adapted to today, you get something like the recent moment of Hania Aamir in Ivory Silk by ITRH. His short Kurta and Sharara Fauvéed offered a vision of the inhabitants of the wedding guests – a tryable, to the genus of the skin and luminous without excess. She paired it with matching flared sharara pants which presented Gold Patti borders at the hem, but it was not the culmination. Drapeed on her shoulder, she wore a Jaal Dupatta – graft, shiny and grid mirror, just adding the good touch of radiance to the otherly exhausted look.

The fashion crowd seems to have collectively crowned ivory as the shadow of the season – and Banita Sandhu argued that. Dressed in a Sari Raas Frontier Ivory, she associated the drape with a green laundry blouse which included a plunging neckline and a delicate gold garnish. Its look was finished with traditional jewelry and fresh gajra, linking a classic aesthetic. Nor did she stop in a single set – she was also seen in a Sharara Set discovery and a sari with glitter, proving her range of festive dressing.

Ananya Panday has made a solid argument for soft shades this season in a Licou Bleu Powder collar costume – an effortless choice for a day weddings and discreet bridesmaid tasks. For something more opulent, Aditi Rao Hydari turned to a pink pink mango silk sari with fusion tones, finding the perfect balance between classic and contemporary. Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu wore an ivory Krésha Bajaj Sari, with a Kamarbandh and a detailed scalloping border with geometric and floral patterns inspired by Mandala and floral patterns.
