Jerry Butler, commonly known as the “Iceman,” passed away at the age of 85. Butler passed away on February 20, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease at his Chicago home, despite his melodious, soulful voice captivating audiences. For over 60 years, Butler’s career has remained an indelible mark in the R&B genre, including over 55 hits.
