After filmmaker Anurag Kashyap spoke of leaving Bollywood and settling in the South, Sunny Deol reiterated similar feelings during the Jat trailer event. Deol, who made a brilliant return with Gadar 2 in 2023, praised the producers of his next film during the program on March 24.

The 67 -year -old actor said in the program: “My producers are very good. I want Bombay producers (from them). It was very fun. Maybe I’m going to the south (south).
He said: “All these things remain intact in the films of the South and that is why their films become popular throughout India. Each person across the country joins them. I believe that we should also follow this in Hindi (cinema) and return to our roots. For example, my films like Malf, Damini and Arjun, we have to redo such films.” Apart from that, the actor also answered a journalist who asked him where Hindi cinema was lagging behind, which Deol said that Bollywood had become more commercial.
He said: “First of all, when the director used to tell a story, the producers loved him. Then, they undertook to do so. Later, the companies came and then she became very commercial.
