‘Team India needs more than Rohit’s fitness’, former batsman said a big thing

New Delhi:
For the last few days, there was a lot of noise about Rohit’s fitness. Especially after a national party spokesperson commented, there was a unnecessary dispute between the Champions Trophy. However, Rohit (Rohit Sharma) ‘match winning innings, his player of the match and Team India’s title win have not left any critic in the final. Earlier, this thing was absolutely absurd and after victory, it has been buried several feet below the ground. Now former India batsman Praveen Amre has said a big thing. He has said that Team India needs their leadership skills more than the fitness of the opener, as they have given the country the title of Champions Trophy for the third time.
Amre said, ‘This was a moment of happiness for all of us. When Team India wins the ICC Trophy, we are all happy. He played as a team and we played good cricket throughout the tournament. We won 10 matches in the 2023 ODI World Cup but failed to lift the trophy. The team and Rohit should be credited with handling the team and clarifying the role to the players. He went ahead and contributed to the important opening partnership of more than 100 runs in the final.
He said, ‘The rival captain also praised him for his innings. I have seen him since the days of under-16 and I am very happy with his success. His leadership ability is excellent as he has won two ICC Trophy in addition to five IPL titles. He is enjoying his cricket and is at a good level. Amre silenced Rohit’s critics and said that India needs his leadership skills more than his fitness. Amre said, ‘It is said that’ you cannot buy experience in supermarket. And he has shown how much cricket experience he has. He has that skill and most importantly is that he is a good leader. Team India needs their leadership more than their fitness.
Iyer’s childhood coach Amre said that he is happy to see the batsman’s performance in the tournament, as he finished second for India scoring the most runs and two fifties including two fifties. He said, ‘Shreyas Iyer’s role was to form partnership at number 4 and dominate spinners. He played his role well and other players also played their roles well and emerged as champions.
