After the floods in Punjab, the AIIMS of Delhi sent a team of doctors a few days ago to help the victims. Now AIIMS has decided to start the television facility for flood victims from all over North India.

Punjab flood and aiims delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi is now going to start free medical services for all areas of North India. AIIMS, who has already sent a team of 22 doctors and nursing officers for flood affected areas of Punjab, has now decided to start telemedicine services for here. In such a situation, people affected by floods can now call AIIMS’s tele consultation number and get treatment from the doctors of AIIMS.

In the information given by AIIMS, it was informed that AIIMS team will give medical support, telephone consultation and cooperation to them wherever people are facing health problems due to floods in North India.

In the note issued by Dr. Vijay Prakash Mathur, Professor Incharge of Telemedicine Department of AIIMS, it was informed that the Telemedicine Department has handed over its mobile phone and accessories center for community medicine to provide telephone consultation in flood affected areas. It was told by the department that telephonic medicine can be taken by calling this mobile number 9355023967.

This was told by Dr. Nirupam Madan, a medical suiter of AIIMS, that earlier AIIMS had sent a team of doctors to Punjab for 6 to 9 September, where in 4 days, the team treated about 3100 patients. Exceeded 400 blood sugar examined and gave people medicines. AIIMS is now starting the Flood Relif Helpline and Telemedicine’s facility for those patients.

Dr. Amarinder Malhi, who led the Punjab team, said that this team had gone to different areas of Punjab and provided medical services to the flood affected people. It was the first team of doctors to reach these villages of Punjab for help. Many such patients also came out there, whose condition was very bad and admitted them to hospitals in Amritsar.

Dr. Amarinder Malhi said that doctors from 6 departments were involved in the team. Among which were the experts of the Departments of Pediatric, Psychiatry, Laboratory, Community Medicine, Surgery and Radio Diagnosis.
