Tesla starts deliveries in India Minister Sarnaik receives first model y in Mumbai

Mumbai’s “Tesla Experience Centre” on Thursday handed over his first Model Y car to Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik. The Tesla Experience Centre was launched on July 15th at Maxity Mall, India’s first Bandra Crula Complex. A similar centre opened on August 11th at Aerocity in Delhi. A video posted to the X-handle by the press ANI shows Sarnaik receiving his new Tesla Model Y car at the Experience Center.

The Minister of Transport later told X, “A new milestone in the direction of Green Transport – Tesla is proud to welcome it at home!” The electric vehicle (EV) veteran company has launched its Tesla Model Y, a medium-sized SUV, for around 60 pounds. Currently, this Model Y is the only model available in India and has been introduced in two variations. Rear-wheel drive costs 60 and £68.
However, it is not yet clear whether Minister Sarnaik has purchased the regular RWD model or the long-range RWD model. Customers can also choose a fully automated driving (FSD) package from the company owned by Alan Musk. India’s first Tesla Supercharge was released at BKC on August 4th. Tesla Model Y Car is available in 6 colors. Of these, only stealth grey colors will be available at no additional charge. Other colors are available at an additional charge, such as Pearl White Multicot, Diamond Black, Ultra Red, Quick Silver, and Glacier Blue.
The inside of this electric car has a black and white theme and has five seats. The rear-wheel drive ranges at 500 km and the maximum speed is 201 km/h. Achieves speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. Its supercharger capacity offers a range of up to 238 km in 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the long-range RWD ranges at 622 km, with its maximum speed being the same as the regular model. You can get speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. The long distance model also has supercharged capacity, offering a range of up to 267 km over the same 15-minute period.
