The best moments from the 2025 MTV VMAs

The VMA MTV 2025 took place on Sunday evening, bringing with them a chance to block themselves on the most buzzing names of music at the moment – namely, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Rosé, Jelly Roll (… of course, why not?), And, of course, Mariah Carey.

Sabrina Carpenter’s appropriate tribute to trans rights

With Man’s best friendCarpenter has the number one album in the country. On Sunday, she pulled the best party of her projectors to the VMA MTV by interpreting her new song “Tears” for the first time, surrounded by Drag Queens holding panels which read, among others, “Dolls Dolls Dolls” and “In Trans We Trust”. Like the Trump administration accelerates his unnecessary attacks On Trans People, it’s nice to see Carpenter speak for an often unloved community – without pop music as we know it would simply not exist. Moreover, that Britney Tribute did not hurt either!
