A case of actors from Bollywood Sunny Deol, Randeep Haoda and Vineet Kumar Singh were reserved in a scene from their new film “Jat” for having injured religious feelings. Jalandhar police deposited a FIR on Wednesday under article 299 (deliberately and malicious work) of article 299 (BNS) of the Code of Indian justice (BNS). A case was also recorded against the director of the film Gopichand Malineni and his producers. The complainant said that a scene of the film published on April 10 has “had the religious feelings of the whole Christian community”.

The FIR Ani -Jat news agency said – “Bollywood actor Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, director Gopichand Malineni and producer Jat Naveen Jat in Sadar police station in Jalandhar, and a case was recorded under section 299 BNS for injuring religious feelings against Naveen Yernni Film.

For those who do not know, let us know that the film entered in controversy shortly after its release in theaters. The Christian community criticized him for a particular scene from the Church, after which the boycott request was also raised. The scene shows the character of Hooda acting violently under a cross near the altar, while the faithful are seen praying in the background.
This illustration would have harassed many people, alleging that this scene lacks respect for Christian beliefs and wrongly presents faith. According to sources, the pressure to stop the projection of the film increases, certain groups plan to protest to express their concerns. Earlier, community leaders submitted an official request to the joint commissioner, urging the authorities to ban the film. Meanwhile, film manufacturers have not yet discussed the controversy.
