The police complaint filed against Kamal Haasan in Bengaluru Shiva Rajkumar has supported

After a general change in the linguistic dispute after the commentary by the Tamil megastar Kamal Haasan, the chief minister Siddaramaiah said today that he knew nothing about the history of Kannada. His response came to Tamil Nadu after Hassan’s statement, chief of a new political party, declaring that Kannada was “born” of the Tamil language itself. Siddaramaiah retaliated to the founder of Makkal Nidhi Mayam, saying: “The story of Kannada is very old. Poor Kamal Haasan is not aware of it.” Hassan has not yet proven his political potential despite the fight against several elections since 2019.
Kannada actor Shiv Rajkumar defended Kamal Haasan in the middle of the Kannada language dispute. Kannada’s popular actor described herself as a Haasan fan at a public event in Bangalore and said he was a great inspiration for the actor. Shiva said to those who had criticized Haasan and those who demanded their boycott that they should understand that their work speaks more than words. He asked him if he had done something for the Kannada film industry or had provided new opportunities to young actors. He said: “Kamal Sir has always congratulated Kannada and has greatly congratulated Bengaluru. He proudly talks about our city. We grew up when we saw him and I was a big fan of Kamal Sir for years.”
The Kannada Pro-Kannada group named Karnataka Rakshan Vedike (KRV) filed a complaint against the veteran actor Kamal Haasan for his controversial comment “Kannada Tamil” in Bengaluru. Those who do not know it say that during the promotion of his next film Thug Life, the actor had raised the controversy by saying during an event in Chennai that Kannada was “born” of the Tamil language. The inhabitants of Karnataka did not like that, which threatened to blacken the actor’s face and to boycott them in his kingdom. After protesting against his declaration and apologizing, legal action was also taken against Kamal.
According to a report by India today, KRV president Praveen Shetty in the complaint described the actor’s declaration as “illegal” and said that she was against harmony between the two states. The complaint was filed with the RM Nagar police station in Bengaluru on Wednesday, May 28.
Kamal Haasan refused to apologize
Meanwhile, the actor broke his silence on the controversy and recently speaking to the media, saying that his comment was “misunderstood” and he said “with love”. He also said that he would not apologize for his declaration. He said, “I will not apologize for what I said with love”, he said that many historians had taught him the history of the language. According to PTI, the 70 -year -old actor said: “Politicians are not eligible for linguistic issues, and I am also involved.” During the interaction with the media, he also said that Tamil Nadu had always been an inclusive kingdom. “It is a very rare state where a menon was the chief minister, a reddy was CM, and even a kannadiga worked as CM.” After saying that, he explained how the people of Karnataka and Kannada helped him at the time of his needs. He said, “When I faced problems in Chennai, Karnataka supported me.”
