Hollywood veteran actor Jean Hackman was found dead in his home in New Mexico along with his wife Bato Arakawa. Santa Fe County Sheriff Eden Mendoja confirmed the death of the star and his dog. Police say the cause of the actor and his wife’s death is not yet known, but there is no possibility of a disability in the home.
On social media, many users quickly estimated that carbon monoxide poisoning could be the reason for this. One person estimated in X said, “They say they don’t interfere, so maybe they should be carbon monoxide toxic…?” Another said, “Rip Jean Hackman. Given what’s come up so far, I’m assuming it’s carbon monoxide or other gas leaks. Stay safe in your home!
A third party commented, “If no one has a dirty place to question, then why is a dog asking me if there is one carbon or gas at the end of itself or something else?”

The University of New Mexico recommends opening and closing doors and windows, closing fuel combustion equipment, and emptying buildings.
