Now the federal officials there have detained an international student studying at Tufts University near Boston and canceled her visa. The university itself has given this information.

The University of Tufts said that a graduate student was detained from an off-kampus apartment billding in Summerville, Massachusetts. The university claimed that it had no more information about the circumstances of the legal status of the incident or the status of the student.

According to the Reuters report, representatives of the US Homeland Security Department, US Customs and Border Protection and US immigration and customs enforcement could not be contacted immediately to comment on the university’s statement.

International students on the target of Trump

Republican President Donald Trump’s administration has taken international students on target as it wants to tighten the immigration. Actions include increasing arrests inside the US and restricting the exercise to cross the border.

US official also tried to detain a Korean -origin American student at Columbia University, who is legally a permanent resident of America. He has participated in pro -Palestine protests. However, the court has stopped taking him into custody.

The Trump government has also targeted students of Cornell University in New York and Georgetown University in Washington.
