US air attack on detention center in Yemen, 68 people claim to die

The US aerial attacks in Yemen targeted a migrant detention center (Detention Center) in Sada, a stronghold of the Huti rebels, killing at least 68 people, including five women and two children. The Ministry of Health -run Health has confirmed this. After the US attacks, the United Nations has expressed deep concern and appealed to all sides to exercise restraint. United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres has expressed serious concern about the human situation in Yemen.
Stephen Dujarik said in a statement, “We are saddened by this sad life loss, many of which are feared to be killed and injured.” However, he did not mention America. He said that according to preliminary information, 68 migrants were killed and 48 others were injured in overnight attacks.
The United States Army has carried out almost daily attacks on Huthis since 15 March. A campaign called Rough Rider has been launched, the aim is to eliminate the danger created by them for the ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. The Huthis attacked the Red Sea by targeting Israel and Western ships, which they describe as solidarity with Palestinians, as Hamas launched a major attack on Israel in October 2023.
