We stand with India: Tulsi Gabbard on Pahalgam attack

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, many countries of the world have expressed their support towards India. US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard has said that we are standing with India. US President Donald Trump has already expressed his support for India after the Pahalgam attack. 26 people were killed in a firing of terrorists on Tuesday in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, most of whom were tourists. This was the deadliest attack in the valley after the Pulwama attack in 2019.
Gabbard said in a post on X, “We are standing in solidarity with India in view of the horrific Islamic terrorist attack targeting 26 Hindus in Pahalgam.”

He said, “My prayers and deep condolences are with those who have lost their loved ones, are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all the people of India. We are with you and support you in capturing those responsible for this heinous attack.”
He said, “I can tell you that as we all know, this is a rapid changing situation and we are closely monitoring it, as you can imagine. And obviously we are not taking any stand on the situation in Kashmir or Jammu right now, so I can only say that today.”

When asked if President Donald Trump offered mediation between India and Pakistan in his first term, he said, “I am not going to comment on it … as I have mentioned.” Meanwhile, Congress member Ellis Stephnik was nominated by US President Donald Trump as an US ambassador to the United Nations. He said that America is very saddened by India’s horrific mass terrorist attack in Kashmir.
