Manoj Kumar was angry with a special Om Shanti Om scene
When the film OM Shanti OM was released in 2007, it was a great success. However, when fans gave a lot of love to the film, the veteran actor Manoj Kumar, who was affectionately called Bharat Kumar, got angry because of a special scene. In fact, he also deposited allegations against Khan and the director Farah Khan.
In this scene, the character of Shah Rukh Khan, Om Prakash Makhija, was shown entering the first of the film using Manoj Kumar, but the police failed to identify him because of his brand gesture. The guard later, Lathi loaded him and chased him.

He had said: “I am injured. Shah Rukh Khan injured my soul. It is a conspiracy to humble me and make fun of me. This film is not a manufacture … My devotion has been insulted towards the world of cinema for 50 years.” He also asked for a rupee as compensation in the defamation trial, as according to his lawyer, “Kumar’s reputation is invaluable and precious”. Manoj Kumar asked to withdraw the film’s scene, which the filmmakers accepted.
Shah Rukh Khan apologized for having injured the legendary actor, he said: “I was completely wrong. If he was injured, I apologize.” Despite the apology, the problem was released in 2013 when Om Shanti OM was made with a disputed scene in Japan. After that, Manoj Kumar demanded legal action, demanding compensation from RS 100 Core from Shah Rukh Khan and Eros International for not having deleted the scene.
However, this incident did not end here. Six years later, OM Shanti OM was produced in Japan and this time, the disputed scene was not deleted. Consequently, Manoj Kumar opposed again and filed a legal affair against Shah Rukh. He accused Shah Rukh Khan of making fun of him and asked for compensation from Rs 100 crosses. In 2013, Kumar’s lawyer said: “He (Shah Rukh Khan) had promised Manoj Kumar earlier, but repeated the same error in Japan … Shah Rukh did not ask for any personal excuse … He is not in a mood for any agreement.”
The film was released in Japan without removing these scenes. I forgive them twice, but not this time. They insulted me. He is also faced with an outrage of the court, because in 2008, the court asked him to withdraw these scenes forever and from all the printed and dissemination documents, “also said Manoj Kumar. After a long legal battle, Manoj Kumar withdrew the case against Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan.
