The Madhya Pradesh High Court has lifted the freeze imposed in 2015 on assets worth Rs 15,000 crore of the Pataudi family. After this High Court ruling, the way was paved for the government to acquire the ancestral properties of the Pataudi family under the Enemy Property Act, 1968.

The court said, “If the complaint is filed within 30 days from today, the appellate authority will not consider the aspect of limitation and will decide the merits of the appeal. »
