New report on workplace: Most of the youth dreams to do a good job after studying. After years of hard work, young professionals get jobs, but sometimes the stress of the workplace disturbs them. In today’s era, the youth are starting new startups after getting upset with the job. Some are setting up a momos stall, some are opening a tea shop. Now a new report has revealed that youth are facing the most stress on the workplace in India. Young professionals in the country are facing stress and mental health problems at the workplace.
In a report by Global Technology Company ADP, ‘Emotional Landscape’ has revealed that the highest stress level at the workplace has been seen in young professionals between the ages of 27 to 39 years. 11 percent professionals said that they do high stress experience, which is more than 9 percent of the national average. Whereas 81 percent of the 55-64 year old workers said that they feel less than once a week. More work burden was found to be the main trigger point for the young employee. At the same time, 16 percent of the people aged 18-26 years spoke of stress due to heavy workload.
Apart from this, 67 percent of the workers said that they are judged for flexible working arrangements. 65 percent of the workers said that they are being monitored at work and this can increase the feelings of pressure. The tension level among Indian employees was 12 percent in 2023, which declined to 9 percent in 2024. However, the number of employees who accepted their jobs in their jobs decreased by 22 percent to 20 percent in 2024. In easy language, now people are not considering themselves as successful in jobs. This number is constantly increasing.
According to experts, this report shows that today’s youth professionals are working in the complex and emotionally demanding work environment. The feeling of judging or closely monitoring about work is also causing tension on the workplace. Organizations need to create a good environment for their employees.
