World’s largest eco -friendly container ship MSC Turki welcomed at Vinjhizam port

The MSc Turki Ship with the world’s largest container ship series has arrived on the country’s first semi -automatic port Vinjhism. The world’s largest eco-friendly container ship was welcomed at the Vinjizam port of Adani group. This container ship of Türkiye reached the Vinjizam Bangah on Wednesday afternoon. This is the first time that such a large ship has reached a port in South Asia. It is considered a milestone for shipping and logistics of India.

24,346 containers are capable
The MSc Turki is a ship owned by Meditarenian Shipping Company (MSC). The length of this ship is 399.9 meters, width 61.3 meters and depth 33.5 meters. The ship has the capacity to carry around 24,346 containers simultaneously. Its capacity makes MSc Turkas one of the largest container ships made so far.

The Vinjizam International Port owned by Adani Ports and Sez Limited (Apsez) is India’s first mega transpiration container terminal. The port is the only transmission hub in the Indian subcontinent, the closest to the international shipping routes. It is just 10 knots from the pre-west shipping channel, which combines Europe, Persia’s Gulf, Southeast Asia and Far East.
