Chahal became the third player to take two or more hat -trick in IPL history. Apart from this, Chahal is the first player in IPL history to have taken a hat -trick against Chennai Super Kings. Chahal took a total of four wickets in the 19th over. He took the wicket of Mahendra Singh Dhoni on the second ball of the first over.
